About Us

If you are a true connoisseur with a taste for flair and elegance, you are invited to enter our world of unique and exotic leather furniture.

The Furnworld Company was established in June 1999 by its passionate founder Armand du Preez who identified a need for exotic and superior quality leather furniture. Gone are the days where masterpieces were passed on from generation to generation, in stead the market is flooded with ordinary, inferior and overpriced replicas of yesterday.

After extensive research into customer needs and the desire to provide a product not matched anywhere in the world, Armand identified five non-negotiable principles:

· Only the finest quality full-grain leathers are to be used;

· Nothing would be sourced from companies implicated in cruelty to animals;

· Frames were to be constructed from graded wood and only by true craftsmen;

· The product has to outlive generations

· Customer service has to exceed customer expectations

Furnworld stuck to its principles and today it is one of the biggest independent retailers in South Africa. The extensive range of leather furniture caters for all needs and our masterpieces are available at wholesale prices direct to the public without the involvement of intermediaries.

Leather is sourced in South Africa, home of the Ostrich, Cape Buffalo, Kudu and Zebra. The durable Kudu leather reflects the unique markings on the animal and enriches the character and overall quality of the couches. All our leather providers are ISO 900 and 9002 certified and comply with accepted and ethical norms. We also source leather from reputable companies abroad to provide in special requirements of our customers.

In 2006 Furnworld International opened its doors in Denver Colorado to serve the American and International markets. The Armand designed “Out of Africa” and Ostrich ranges proofed to be instant favorites and will continue to grow. The range can also be viewed in the Aspen Sojourner and Mountain Homestyle magazines.

Furnworld International will strive to provide the service excellence you deserve. Whether your preference is Ostrich or a combination of other leathers, we will craft it to your specifications.

Is it the elegant Zulu, the robust Sahara or the timeless Imperial? The choice is yours!

Wil jy suksesvol wees? Die antwoord is in Psalm 1.

"Dink Jy Aan Immigreer?"

……. OF IS DIT?

“Tired of Julius Mal lema ? Jesus is the answer!!
